On November 18th, 2010 we met at the Western Campus of the College of Southern Nevada to here from our very own Toby Robinson about the “S” Key and other user customization options. As always certificates and prizes were given away by the drawing of names out of a hat. Quite a few vendors participate in these offerings and it is greatly appreciated. If you added everything up there would have easily been a few hundred dollars worth of vendor supplies prizes given away. Our strong contingent of SolidWorks students from CSN were probably surprised by all of the free stuff as they were not told about this in advance.
- Our very own Toby Robinson presenting the “S” key and other user customization options.
- Our attendance members!
- Our attentive members!
- We introduced ourselves.
- Toby introduced himself!
- And we all got free stuff!
- Justin Young our Communications Director MC’d the evening.
- All of our members and guests enjoying free pizza and soda!
All of our attendees were asked to introduce themselves to the group. The breadth and depth of their experience is proof that it pays to stay up to date with what is new out there. User Groups share knowledge and it is no exception here tonight.
Toby gave a really nice educational look at the customization of the SolidWorks Short Cut Bar. A lot of new insights were taught to us about this great tool, especially on how to make it work better with our own ways of doing things. Thanks Toby. Well done Sir.
We all enjoyed the free food. There sure is a lot of it. A really great group of guys and gals. Toward the end of the meeting the last of the prizes were given out and we all headed home. It was a very successful meeting and a special thanks goes out to our officers of the LVSUG. Hope you all enjoyed the look at the meeting. Thanks for being there. Take care and Happy Sketching.
